Losing to Australia in Mirpur was obviously disappointing but we have come so far in 12 months and are both great teams
It was obviously very disappointing to lose Sunday's World Twenty20 final against Australia. To be fair, though, Australia outplayed us and got what they deserved. We did not put in a good performance at all.
We only managed 105 on a good pitch and ended up losing by six wickets, which is well below par. You would have expected Australia to reach the target and we did not take wickets early on that could have made the game very different. But credit to them, they played well and were deserved winners.
