![Hunt for Lincoln's mystery blonde goes global with coverage in USA and Australia]()
This is Lincolnshire -- Lincoln party girl Sophie Reynolds is today coming to terms with international celebrity status after being interviewed by an American radio station about her bid to find the mystery blonde owner of an engagement ring. Shocked Sophie, 23, was contacted by both CBS Radio in Houston, Texas, and Australian network 7 News for interviews today. It all came after her story was told on the Lincolnshire Echo's website on Monday and yesterday - following her drunken conversation with a jilted reveller in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Running Imp purchasing administrator from South Park in the city is now desperate for the girl who handed over her gold and pearl band during a late-night rant in the Charcoal Grill takeaway to make contact. Sophie - whose Facebook handle is Sophie Lincolnpartygirl Reynolds - provided a shoulder to cry on while waiting for her pizza to arrive after a night out on the town. But she never expected the mystery blonde with a Yorkshire accent to literally shove the ring at her before disappearing into the night. "I'm really overwhelemed by the coverage after the initial Lincolnshire Echo story," she said. "First I was asked for an interview by CBS on their morning show, then an Australian national news organisation emailed me and now the story's up on both 7 News and news.com.au. "So today's been a bit crazy because my story's being told all over the world. "I just hope that the girl does get in touch because I really want to return the ring and have heard nothing from her."
